'Drishyam: The Conclusion' on the path to becoming a blockbuster


 The Ajay Devgan-starring film 'Drishyam: The Conclusion' is performing aggressively at the box office. By Monday afternoon, the film had earned 2,72.8 crore rupees from India and abroad in just three days.According to the trade website Sacnilk, the movie has grossed 1.765 billion rupees in India in three days. The total earnings of the movie in India have reached 2.118 billion rupees. Similarly, it is reported that the movie earned 610 million rupees abroad in three days.

With this, 'Drishyam: The Conclusion' has become Ajay Devgn’s highest-earning movie in three days. Earlier, 'Singham Again' was Ajay Devgn’s biggest opening movie. That movie had earned 43.5 crore rupees on its first day in India. 'Drishyam: The Conclusion' broke that record by a wide margin, earning 62 crore rupees on its first day itself. The movie earned 62 crore on Friday, 53.5 crore on Saturday, and 61 crore on Sunday in net collection. Its net earnings in India reached 176.5 crore in three days.

 Fastest entry into the 50 crore club.

'Drishyam: The Conclusion' has become one of the fastest movies to earn 500 million rupees in India. The film earned 620 million rupees on its first day.  Previously, 'Dhurandhar 2', 'Pushpa 2', and 'Jawan' had crossed the 500 million rupee mark on their first day. On the list of movies that entered the 500 million club fastest, 'Drishyam: The Conclusion' ranks fourth.  

'Dhurandhar 2' earned 1,421 million, 'Pushpa 2' earned 703 million, 'Jawan' earned 655 million, and 'Drishyam: The Conclusion' earned 620 million rupees on their first days.

100 Crores in Two Days

The movie crossed the 100 crore mark in India in just two days. Its net earnings reached 115.5 crore in two days. With this achievement, 'Drishyam: The Conclusion' has become one of the fastest movies to earn 100 crore in India. On this list, 'Don 2' is first, 'Pushpa 2' is second, and 'Pathaan' is third. 'Drishyam: The Conclusion' is in fourth place. 

Also, on the list of movies to cross the 150 crore mark, 'Drishyam: The Conclusion' has made it to the top five. The movie earned 176.5 crore in three days.

'Drishyam' marks the biggest start for the series

'Drishyam: The Conclusion' has become the movie that gives the biggest start to the entire 'Drishyam' series, including Hindi and Malayalam versions. None of the previous 'Drishyam' films had earned more than 600 million rupees in their opening phase. But the third installment set a new record by earning 620 million rupees on its first day.

The Monday screening of the film is also considered important from a business perspective. According to early trade estimates, the film is expected to do strong business on Monday as well. Its earnings are also expected to remain in double digits on the fourth day.

Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film features Ajay Devgn in the role of Vijay Salgaonkar. The movie continues Vijay's struggle with the Goa police. The story moves forward after Vijay is accused of hiding the body of the son of Police Commissioner Meera Deshmukh. Along with the previous cast, new actors like Jaidip Ahlawat, Prakash Raj, and Akashdeep Sabir have also joined the film.
