Sangita Shrestha's Story Anthology "Kathama Aljhiyaka Prem" Launched

Sangita Shrestha started her career as a Rj, then become VJ. Now She become writer. Writer Sangita Shrestha's new short story anthology "Kathama Aljhiyaka Prem" was launched in Kathmandu on Saturday. The author of Book and media personality Malvika Subba launched the book at the publication Nepalaya in Dilli Bazaar. The have already worked at the same telivision station in Kathmandu. During the function, former Miss Nepal Malvika Subba had also interacted with Shrestha over her experience as a writer. The book "Katham Aljhiyaka Prem" has 10 short story and available across the nation, according to the publisher.

Nepali Communities Celebrate Maghi Festival (Photo Feature)

 Maghi Festival is celebrating in the occasion cold day of the winter season. Maghi is called Maghe Sakranti , the festival falls in the month of Magh as a Nepali Calender and observed across the country. As a Nepali slogan "Chaar jaat 36 barnako Phoolbari Ho" like said, people belonging to Chhetri, Bhrahman, Newar, Magar, Tharu many communities are celebrating Maghi festival on their style.   Hindi religion, Brahman and Chhetri take ritual bath in popular river like known as religious. And also worship in various shrines and temple after eat special foods including  Sweet Potato, Sel roti, Khichati(Mixed of rice and lentils) and yam. Magar, Tharu are celebrating Maghi festival organized by their cultural dance programme across the country. Similarly, Newars celebrating Maghe Sankranti as “Ghyo-Chaku Sanun".

Reconstruction Boudha Stupa after Earthquake

Lets talk about Boudha! Boudha is located about 11km (6.8mile) from the centre and northeastern ourskirts of Kathmandu,NEPAL. It is known as Khasti in Nepali language, Jyarung Khasor in Tebetian language or as Boudha by all speakers in the world. Boudha Stupa is in the UNESCO's list of world heritage and is known as one of the largest Stupa in the world. Boudha Stupa is one of the holiest Bhuddhist Shrines.  It will take two year to complete this reconstruction work, Boudhanath Development Committee said.
