Kathmandu - In the second match of the Twenty20 international cricket series against Malaysia, the Nepal women's team defeated Malaysia. Nepal win over to Malaysia by 7 wickets in the match at the UKM Oval ground in Bangi, Selangor on Tuesday morning.
Nepal achieved a target of 98 runs and won by losing 3 wickets in 17.3 overs. Captain Rubina Chhetri scored the most 29 runs for Nepal. She made this total with 3 fours and 1 six in 21 balls. Likewise, Kavita Kunwar scored 26 runs in 43 balls with 2 fours for Nepal. Bindu Rawal scored 17 runs off 18 balls with 2 fours.

Earlier, Malaysia, who won the toss and batted first, scored 97 runs losing 5 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. Mas Ilyasa Yasmin Zulkifli scored the highest 28 runs for Malaysia. She faced 34 balls and also hit 2 fours.
Similarly, Winifred N Duraisingam and Wan Julia Wan Mohammed Rosdi scored equal 20/20 runs. Captain Rubina Chhetri took 2 wickets for Nepal. Similarly, Kavita Kunwar and Indu Barma took 1/1 wicket each.
