How to Change MPIN in "Esewa"

Forgot MPIN of Esewa App? Confused about how to change or reset MPIN? Don't worry, we have made this blog to explain in detail the new way to change MPIN at Esewa to make it easier for you.

1. Open Esewa app ang go to Login

2. Forget MPIN "Click on"

3. Use your Esewa ID (Used Mobile Number ) and the Click on Proceed.

4. Now you have to verify that the mobile number used in your Esewa account is yours.

If you don't have the number registered with Esewa now, you can contact Esewa office on our toll free number: 1660-01-02121.

You will need to send a message to verify that the number is with you. For that click on “Proceed to send SMS”.

5. Now your message box (Message Box) will open automatically and the message (SMS) will be typed. Do not edit anything in that message.

The phone system may ask you to text 32121 on your screen. Click on 'Remember my choice'. To send a message, click on the 'Send' button on the right side. You may incur normal charges for sending messages.

If you have another SIM card in your phone, send the message using the same mobile number used in your Esewa account.

6. You will receive a one-time password (OTP) message from Esewa.

7. Enter the password (OTP) received in the message on Esewa app and click on “Verify & Proceed”.

8. Now select the new 4 digit MPIN.

Things to consider while selecting MPIN:

- Continuous numbers such as 1234, or 6789 cannot be kept.

– Same number cannot be kept 4 times like 1111, 2222.

- You cannot keep the first 4 digits or the last 4 digits of the mobile number used in your Esewa account.

Keeping such a number as MPIN makes it easy for others to guess it. Therefore, you should keep the MPIN as a number known only to you.

9. Also enter the above 4 digits in the box shown below to select a new MPIN.

Your MPIN has now been successfully changed. Now you can easily transact on Esewa.

Remember that - Esewa will never call or text you and ask you for MPIN and password in the name of any offer or inducement. You should never share MPIN, Password and OTP with anyone to keep your Esewa account safe.
