What has been the best part of your training session until now?
Yoga which we have at the end of the day. It’s so relieving, after daylong training sessions. This is something that has helped me a lot, physically & mentally.
Which former Miss Nepal inspires you a lot? How, why?
Miss Prerana Shah, 1st Runner-up, Miss Nepal 2003. She’s the only winner among Miss Nepal winning who has been able to make it to top10 in the international pageant, so far. She made us all proud, leaving a mark in the international arena. Apart from that, I like her personality & the way she carried the responsibility of her title.
What makes you think that you deserve to be crowned Miss Nepal 2008?
- Education qualification & age
- Socially responsible citizen, as I have enough of work
- I represent the majority of ideal youths of new Nepal.
- Rest in for you to judge.
If not you, then who according to you, among this year's top 20 finalists deserves the title crown? And why?
All of us.
May be you also want to name who doesn't deserve the title at all? why again!
None.
Besides the input from the training session that you have been getting, how have you been personally preparing yourself for the big day?
As we all know that this pageant requires both beauty & brain from any side, have been really careful with my diet & I have been trying to keep myself updated with the national & global issues. So, basically I’ve been trying to keep myself healthy.
So, let's say that you get declared as Miss Nepal 2008. What is the first thing you would do as a Miss Nepal?
Fulfillment of social responsibilities & grooming for international pageant will certainly be on it way. But the 1st thing after being crowned would be celebration of course !!
What aspect of Nepal would you opt for to rightly represent our country in the international arena?
Nepalese art has been able to win entrance acclaims internationally, whenever the opportunities have dawned. Representation in the form of melodies of Sur Sudha, rich culture of Manjushree dance, thankas, these have always been a part to the international eyes. I strongly believe that proper promotion of Nepal art can imprint unrivalled stamp internationally.
Until now, under your own individual evaluation, what chances do you think you have to bag the title crown? You can indicate the answer in percentage if you want to.
I believe in myself & I believe I have what if tales to carry the responsibility of this esteemed title aptly. I've 50-50 chances of winning the crown. I’m doing my level best & they are doing theirs.
Any piece of advice for your fellow contestants?
Let us all make the most out of the opportunity that we’ve got… Wish you all luck, dear friends!!
What would you like to say to all those reading your profile right now?
Miss Nepal is now not only my dream to represent our country in the international arena. It’s also your opportunity to elect a perceptive ambassador to the entire world. Make a wise choice by electing me as Nepal’s next delegate to the world. Thank you.
