Chairman of NEB Dr. Chandramani Paudel said, The council of Ministers has given permission to conduct grade 12 examination after 1st Bhadra. The board has been postponed last year exam grade 11 and grade 12 due to COVID-19 threat on 25th Chaitra. Now therefore, internal preparations have been done to conduct class 12 examination in the first or second week of Ashoj.
The total number of (4,32,000) students were ready to appear for the grade 12 examination where a total of 1,147 examination centers were set across the country for the class 12.
Exam Controller Krishna Prasad Sharma said that the additional examination centers could be set up as the examination have to be conducted by maintaining social distances.He said that there are quarantines in 172 examination centers across the country at present and the examinations can be conducted only by the vacating them. He said that after completing the preparation of examination centers, at least three weeks will be given. Butwal has the highest quarantines in 36. The examination of grade 12 will be conducted by the second week of Ashoj at most.
